Man, thus far, this is really the only 40k art I've seen that gives me the feels.

are they all clones?
Men of Krieg are born through severe genetic manipulation to speed up the birth process. The gas masks are a remembrance of their home world, where the atmosphere and the the planet are still highly irradiated. Also, they do not have names, only numbers.
DKoK are best regiment.
That guardsman should enjoy that. He might never get another chance...
