For everyone that likes Warhammer 40k Tabletop and Dawn of War Games or anything to do with Warhammer 40K.
SlayerX3 once said to me that pulse rifles were better than bolters, 'cause bolters could only be used by Space Marine sized infantry and pulse rifles could be used by everyone.
Untill now. :D
They kinda look weird in the hands of guardsmen... They still fit SM if you ask me.
On my defense Astartes bolters and non-Astartes bolters have different calibers and size. Added to the fact they are expensive and relatively rare. (Notice the stats for tabletop are the same though)

Plus Pulse rifles are baseline for most Tau infantry and units, while the bolter is reserved for either veterans or elite units.
Non-astartes bolters have .50 cal rounds, while Astartes have .75. The core still remains the same as far as I know.
But some non-astartes bolt pistols may still have .75 rounds.
Theres a lot of lore the points towards one thing then counter points to the other.
I was just messing around with ya, I knew you'd come up with some facts 'n fluff.
The Pulse Rifle is a better waepon anyway, look at the table top stats. On top of that, Tau fit around 200 bullets into something the size of your fist so you pratically never need to reload and if it runs out of energy then you just put another battery into the gun from your back pack. (Tau backpacks are little generators the recharge your batteries)
Nothing thecnical! :D
Well said.
Pulse round vs power armour. Power armor would win.
Bold vs tau armour = a mess left over.
Railgun slug vs Terminator.
Terminator wins? ******* invulm saves!
(buried)
yeah but look great side this game are fans and fans......if wish this thing go to work one..and I wish is sister of battle dark elder and empire of rising tau are uprising again and become soulstorm
well its a good idea but in real you cant hold a bolter that size and imagine when shooting

You don't seem to know very much about fluff at all...
