I'm sure the Inquisitor would be a lot happier if, y'know, the women were actually attractive. The one on the right is hideous.
It was stuff like this that got the majority of my race killed.... and spawned a Chaos God.. And yet we're still better than you Mon'Keigh! But we are still sorry about that whole Slaanesh thing....
As much as I want to love the Eldar, they've given me so many reasons to hate them. They just like being insufferable dicks to everyone else!
Space Marines tend to be arrogant as hell as well. But I suppose you don't have the right to be arrogant, AFTER CREATING A GODDAMNED CHAOS GOD. Also, remember, they were used to being the ruling empire of the Galaxy, they were more powerful than all other races. It's kind of hard to get rid of that feeling of arrogance even after the majority of your race is gone.

There is just a problem.
The Exodites ,AKA the non LETS RAPE AND PILLAGE EVERYTHING eldars, lost much of their ancestors tech and became much less advanced compared to what they used to have.
The Dark Eldar did manage to keep a good share of their pre-fall tech but they aren't in enough numbers to represent much of a threat compared to other Xenos threats like the Nids and Orks.
Still when we have tales of a single space marine (an ultramarine none the less) and a powerful psychic Tyranid taking out entire Craftworlds the Exodite Eldar really don't have much to brag about.
Addendum.
Still the Imperium and Exodite Eldar get along fine, and mostly avoid each other and sometimes work together when the need arises. Unless one is standing on something the other wants.
There were cases where Imperial patrols come across roaming Craftworld fleets and each other just ignored each other and resumed what they were doing and avoiding unnecessary conflict.
TL;DR The Imperium and Eldar are usually fine with each other(most of the time).
