I've got half a mind to shout this from a street corner.
Just echoes what i've been thinking about for some time - that the only belief worth having is belief in mankind. Hopefully, even without the Big E to drag us to a better future, we can overcome our greatest enemy - ourselves. Only then shall we be able to go forth among the stars.

Every time I read this, (and I've read it multiple times) it brings tears to my eyes. I've always thought this way, that we are the true manipulators of our destiny, and if we come together, we can do great, great, things.
