Actually there are some old as **** fluff about Eldar aristocrats living in the Imperium and Half-human Half-Eldar hybrids serving in both Eldar Craftworlds and even as powerful Psykers in the Imperium.
I thought this was before the whole Craftworld concept and the eldar were more small scattered groups of nomadic space pirates and mercenaries, occasionally hired by the Imperium.
