How will warhammer 40k end? Thread - Warhammer 40K Fan Group

so i have read an article at The Lexicanum about the events of the 41M and it doesn't look good for the empire so how do YOU think will it end ? will chaos consume every thing and then vanish or will the nids eat every thing or will the orks unite and kill every thing or will the empror return?

Humanity is doomed that's for sure. Golden throne is malfunctioning and without throne there is no Emperor protecting humanity from daemons and Astronomican will fade. Even if humanity was able to repel daemon forces, without warp travel they are doomed or they will at least end up in Second Age of Strife.

eldar will be amoung the first to die humanity will be ahnaliated by chaos nids will consume everything then necrons will renew there purgation of everything living after they awaken chaos willconsume all then all the rest of the races die or humanity listens to its instinct for survival and unites with eldar and tau for a last stand

this how imagine things will end :first the empror dies and the illuminati will not be able to resurrect him then with safe wrap travel destroyed systems will fall to chaos easily leaving the realm of ultamar as humanity final stronghold tau ethereals will fight for some time until realizing that chaos is much stronger then massive evacuation of tau systems begin using mighty colony ships capable of reaching wrap speed and gathering whatever races they can save from chaos and leaving the milky way to chaos,nids,orks and necrons fighting endlessly for supremacy but one day the tau will return with the saved humans and eldar to liberate their once homes from whoever will win for in the grim future of the universe there is only WAR ...............*INSERT EPIC ENDING SONG HERE *

Could you imagine if by some freak of the warp the emperor awakened.... not sure the imperium's enemies would stand a chance then. Times look dark for the (my) empire.

1. Chaos is a serious threat and chaoskults n chaosrelated corruption spread everywhere within the Imperium. Not to speak from the several crussades(e.g. the sabbathworld crusade, consuming forces that could be used elsewhere) going on in the 41st millenium and the constant possibility of an other Black Crusade under the lead of more or less united Chaosspacemarines...
2. The Tau's fast progress in technologie (from barbaric cavemen(-tau) to an technologically advanced spacetreveling race in a few centuries) will make it even harder for the Imperium to deal with the Tau in the future if they keep advancing like that...
3. The Tyranids, consuming entire subsector which are then lost forever, as well as it isn't the easiest task to stop a hivefleet from doing so...
4. Then there are the Greenskins, yet easier to deal with compared to Black Crusade or a Tyranid Hivefleet. But once a WAGGHH is rolling it still is a serous problem.
5. Eldar, even if they are more or less fading away, are strong enemies to the Imperium.
6. And last but not least, the Imperiums strict and stubburn position to nonehuman allies as well als the lack of scientific progress/adapting xeno technology caused by "fear" and condamnation of xenotechnoligy... chances would look way better if the imperium would just adapt xeno tech or allie with the Eldar or Tau against their biggest threats ... My enemy's (Orks, Necrons, Chaos, Nids) enemy is my friend...

All this might put an end to the imperium. Anyways the Imperium is far from being an easy pray to its enemies as ther are the uncountable masses of imperial guardsmen with their endless amount of tanks and guns and "human ressources", the battleharden imperial navy, the the uncompromissing sister of battle, the uncompared astartes, the legions of the mechanicum with their gigantic titan warmachines as well as the inquisition (and all i forgot) to defend it...

well the emperor stole the knowledge of all that form the chaos gods and thats why there were out to get him i mean if not why not have an army of primarchs he cant the knowledge was lost to him upon making the first 20. but now if the imperium manages to find an intact stc they will have a fighting chance maby

tau may be advanced but are they better than necrons in reality thats the ? gause weapenroy and regenerating undead warriors vs fleshy beings in fancy suits hmm

The necrons cab be defeated, if the "intelligent" races somehow unite to crush them

Isnt there suppose to be like... new Primarch's or something? In the lore i heard there are like new "sons of the Emperor" or something (who are suppose to like embody the Emperor? i dunno, i heard it and didn't really understand.) but maybe even the High Lords of Terra would make a compromise, if the Necrons began to awaken liturally EVERYWHERE, even POSSIBLY... on Mars...

The victors in my opinion there are either Chaos, Necrons, Tyranid, Orks or Tau. everyone else will perish! (Imperium shatters, and only small empires ruled by astartes remain)
