OK,so they said that dawn of war was gonna let you build your custom melee army. (here it is) Now,I've had an idea, i didn't really like DOW 1's base building, and so i have come up with an idea, what about if the unit construction, rather than being sent from a building, was called in? like in Men of war, with the units down the side, like this, sorry if it doesn't show up(here's the unedited one),its a unit bar on the right side, as i understand it, each unit category, can be clicked on, revealing the available units, this would be a useful thing to have in DOW, this could also introduce another feature,you could start with a fixed number of resource, which could be lowered of heightened for bigger or smaller battles, pop cap would be removed, but each unit would take some of that resource, and upon death, you would get the resource back, this would work like the points system in proper Warhammer 40k, a similar thing was used in world of conflict, and look how successful that was, however, how you would win is something i haven't thought of yet. I think its going to be an amalgamation of both DoW and DoW2, so maybe DoW's number scaling and DoW2's cover system and base options. -- Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring. I like to think I walk that line everyday of my life. |
