a few clips from a game concept i began working on in 2015. based on a protoype i experimented with in 2013, the characters use contracting joints to move. there are no inverse kinematics used in this system. my goal was to create a responsive physics based control scheme using the mouse and keyboard. i'll probably pick this project up again in U4 as its more suited to what i have in mind. this is a very early proof of concept focused mostly on attempting to develop a practical movement system with no animation, please excuse the lack of assets.
