Just a simple proof of concept of a working day and night cycle in the unreal development kit. This is done entirely using the udk, no external scripts were made. Simply by combining very simple funtions of materials, fog, post process volumes, lights, kismet and matinee; one can very easily achieve this effect. If done right, it can be just as performance friendly as fully static.
