I was wondering if gates could be added to the wall system. There are 2 ways I think it could work. 1. Make a gate building which is a gate with wall hubs at each side that can have walls built from it. 2. Make it an upgrade for wall segments like in BFME2 Edited by: FeuerAegis |

I remember that I read somwhere (maybe TE essence page looong time ago) that it might not be possible to have gates like in TS, but that there might be a way to make gates that have to be open manualy by PC. |

the problem with manual is that then your harvestors can't go through automatically and the wall segments are really small better to have one that is a proper size. side note to Carnius you should ask the devs for tiberium sun rising if they've made any headway on gates for cnc3 cause they're the ones who have probably been the most motivated to do it. |

From what I've heard you can't code gates to work like they do in Tiberian Sun. The only way t have a gate work is to have it open and close manually as has been said. This I find to be a genius idea since when our base is under attack we can close up the gates and prevent our stupid harvesters from running outside and getting themselves killed. -- "War is timeless, and so are we."~ Forgotten Tick Tank |
