So as I'm currently making more missions for my campaigns, I wanted to make some upgrades hidden from a specific structure, so the player cannot build them. For example, my third Nod mission (Phoenix Base); you cannot build Banshees, but you can buy the Tiberium Fuel upgrade, which would be completely useless. So I'm asking here: How to make an upgrade hidden, aka not visible in the upgrades tab? I've spent quite a while searching for the answer from official and unofficial missions, but I haven't found a working solution. I did find this: I copied the 'Upgrade_GDICompositeArmor' from another script and pasted it to the new script (see picture) I was testing if I could make Composite Armor Upgrade unavailable in a mission, but it didn't work. There is a dropdown menu, but there's nothing in there, and simply pasting an upgrade there does nothing. I still could buy the upgrade. In case anyone has found a working solution, I'd highly appreciate the knowledge. |
