Me and my dad was going VS for the first time...
We always just play against the AI but we was testing a 2 player map of mine so I wanted real players in each slot...
------
He was Scrin
I was GDI
----

during the fight.... our favorite TV show came on... so we called a truce and did NO offensive actions during that time.. (2 hour season ender)

we had each queued many guys... he had many PACs and i Had many HOVER MLRSs
He had a total of 207 PACs :O
when he made his move... i launched the 12 AA firehawks that i had in the back of my base into the heart of his fleet....
somehow his 207 went to 93 in 2 seconds... :(
then they stood no chance against my MLRSs and i easily won :(
this was very disheartening to see an army like that get destroyed in a couple seconds...
I hate seeing an army defeated like that... it was worse than cheating although i had never had it happen before so i did not know :(

I would like to know if it was because he had not seperated them?
Could it have caused that much AOE damage if they was VERY TIGHTLY clustered?

if so... is there any way to make PACs/Devastators IMMUNE to AOE damage? cuz that can ruin a perfectly good battle :(

thx for the info guys...

In my opinion, I NEED AOE Damage to beat PAC and Devastator clusters.

I'm glad you like honorable battles, but its nothing you did wrong, and its not the Firehawk's fault. It was your dad's unit placing. Its like having a bunch of Zone Troopers jump-jet to the same spot then getting hit by a Devastator. Since they all want to defy physics and occupy the same space at the same time they all die.

well yeah i agree..kinda... but still on a small 2 player map there aint enough room to uncluster 200+ PACs XD

Then don't play on a map that you are going to spam PACs on, and have them in a cluster. :E
