All of the thanks to goes to Carnius for a great mod, I am thankful that you are kind enough to make this for me and the rest of the CNC community, without caring about any kind of pay or reimbersment. I and, I believe the rest of the CNC community really just want to say, THANKS CARNIUS! and thank you for coming to TEF.

Hello guys,

As I've been playing (And recording) through the campaign with version 1.55b I've come to notice something rather obvious.

Remember the Predator Tank (Which is missing now?) had a remade model to look more "real" (Like protection for the tank-threads and such)?

Well....

Something obviously needs to be worked on here I believe.

wait... 1.55b? Atlas, how did you get your hands on that hmm?

But yah, there are so many physical design flaws with the currant mammoth tank... I personally blame the landkreuzer p.1000...
Needs more space for ammo rack, tread armour, more space between treads for crew (you aren't manning that thing with less than 5 people (two loaders, commander, driver, gunner)) muzzle breach on the guns is all wrong... I'm getting off track here...

Carnius accidently named the latest patch "1.51", but its not an offical release, it's still beta, so the correct name should still be "1.51b"

As for crew and such, I would believe loaders have been replaced by auto-loaders by 2047, especialy on a double-barreled tank, even more so when it uses railguns. But yes, overall true.

Hmm...Maybe I should try and think up a good idea for this...if not for Carnius, then just cause I'm tired of looking at that sorry piece of GDI Cut-Funding. I never really looked at it this way...but holy crap...what was EA thinking!?!?!

That picture above is an old concept design. The current mammoth has a cockpit in between the front treads, the front treads are smaller, it has rocket pods, its rounder, and , just like almost every vehicle in a C&C game, is to small to hold a person. But as far as redesigning it i'd say make it larger, give it a more armored apearance but still keep it ugly because it's supposed to be, and atleast make it have some similarites to it's big brother and predecesor the MK.II.

I dont think it must be as big as it is, a smaller model would be fine. I would really suggest a futuristic mixing of a Patton and an Abrams tanks (since GDI was US centric since Tib Dawn). With both cannons more centered in the turret and the Tusk rocket launcher on the sides. Chassis would attemp to give it a low profile but the turret would be massive (again, like the original Mammoth). also the 4 tracks are really to separate and it makes me think they welded 4 tanks together rather than make a super tank, so I would sugest that the tracks could be closer to each other and covered, so you can make out it has 4 sets but it stills looks natural (as much as a tank can anyway). This is just my opinion, hope you read and comment it.

This might sounds crazy, but i realy like this model that is why is still here around

But i have actually add some armor plates over those exposed tracks as armor upgrade. I will post picture of it in upcoming update. I know its not like new model but at least its some improvement.

Thats exactly what I was talking about originally, Carnius. I dont mind this model much at all, its just got that extra touch missing.

Personally, it should self-heal, as the Mammoth Tank was before, even if not in veteran state.
