Description
The International Brigades were composed of volunteers (mostly communists and a bit socialist-anarchists) from many parts of the world who came to fight in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) on the side of the Republican army against the forces led by general Francisko Franko who was supported by Nazi Germany and fashist Italy.
Beatiful.
Even some thousand Americans volunteered to help the Republican Army. Blasted fascists!
