For all the Bronies of Moddb to unite as one, a place to share pictures and video's of all ponies alike and to talk about upcoming events and shows.
It takes her one episode to get home, then it's payback.
If this is how it happens in the show, that would be the best thing ever!!!
Rofl, I just noticed that too!
I'd do the same.
Who abandons their friends in a freaking DESERT?!
Chimi-cherry, cherry-changa, chimi-cherry...
The funny thing is, Twilight can easly lift things with her magic including ponies as shown in previous episodes, but fails to here, and the symbol of "Loyalty" leave's her friends behind...
Although apparently she has trouble lifting herself, given the first episode when she was panicking while hanging off a ledge.
Magic can lift it's casting source though, like the baby did.
There are heaps of little things in the shows that don't exactly make scence, I try not to overthink it :)
I'm pretty sure that babies are a special case: it did some things that I'm not sure a typical unicorn could do, like walking through things with a spell, without any training in said spell.
I'm guessing that baby unicorn magic is powerful for their size, uncontrolled, and based on what they want rather than the spells others cast.
Gotta defend Fallout Equestria's link to the cannon.
It's pretty much the baby's energitic nature and instinctive behaviour, that causes them to have these magic surges. Babies tend to have speical traits, that they lose, when becoming older. I mean, human babies have their breathing routes sealed automatically when going under water in the early phase, which they lose later.
