This is a group that was created for anyone who loves Star Wars, may it be the books, games, films and modding. This is the place for you to enjoy star wars!
Filoni obviously knows what he's doing.
The Clone Wars is his and Lucas's effort to create something that both fans and children can enjoy.
Sadly, uncle George has basically abandoned ship and has let those Disney money-hungry corporates molest his franchise and defiantly step all over the works of the talented people that contributed to the EU.
Rip LucasArts,LucasFilm.
The thing is... to put it mildly... EU was never canon, even uncle George said it, but both Dave and George managed to incorporate some EU characters and events into TCW and SWR, so we can clearly see they are fans themselves of classic EU... and they add EU things to honour EU fans... us... even though EU was never canon. Dave's bound to include Revan at some point as he planned to do so in TCW.
As J.J.A presumably refuted Midi-chlorians, Dave defends them and sees them as vital thing in SW universe - Comicbook.com
And if anyone wishes to learn more about Midi-chlorians, just look them up, search web or read this article - Moddb.com
Dave has a mentor. Even I, as a fan, have my own fan mentor. So, as it seems... master and apprentice tradition seems to pay off. It may sound ridiculous to some, but united we stand, divided we fall.
A Revan series,perhaps? :D
The prospect of it seems so promising, and to be honest Revan is and always will be a canon character and an integral part of the SW universe to me. Him,Nihilus,Kreia,Shan and all the other iconic EU characters are!
The films represent the heart of Star Wars, while the EU is its soul.
C'mon Filoni, you can do it even without uncle George!
TOR series inconveniently sealed his fate setting aside Bastila and killing Meetra. The beauty of KOTOR ruined by Revan novel and the TOR game. You see, even though it's not canon is still hurts, but knowing it's just a legend now, I can put faith in Dave hoping he'll just introduce Revan as force-user that managed to achieve a perfect balance in the Force.
There's no need to bring up his achievements or events surrounding him, but a mention of how he achieved that balance would be appropriate... the way he... was a Jedi Knight, then a Dark Lord of the Sith and consequently a Grey Jedi Master... a story like this... and him himself saying something like Kreia did "If you are to truly understand, then you will need the contrast, not adherence to a single idea." I'd even pray Revan said the exact same quote to Ahsoka, Kanan, Ezra or even Maul. Wouldn't it be nice?
