Capital: Pyongyang, Earth, Sol System
Official Languages: Korean, Japanese
Government: Juche single party state
Eternal President Kim Il-sung
Eternal WPK General Secretary Kim Jong-il
Supreme leader as of 2409 Ryu Hyun-woo
Establishment: As the Democratic People's Republic of Korea 9 September 1948 As the Greater Korean Republic 21st century
The Greater Korean Republic follows a Songun military first policy meaning, that unlike the Federation of Planets, they focus more on military power than exploration. The Greater Korean Republic also, doesn't have a prime directive that prohibits interfering pre-warp civilizations. Instead, they will attempt spread their Juche ideology to the pre-warp civilizations. The Greater Korean Republic is not as authoritarian and isolated as it's present day counterpart. It's relations with the Federation is similar to that of present day China and America. Despite the Greater Korean Republic's loathing for the Federation, they trade with them and even join them in battle against foes that threaten humanity as a whole, such as the Borg. The Greater Korean Republic borders the Romulan neutral zone and as a result, occasionally have incursions and clashes with the Romulans. The Greater Korean Republic is willing to cooperate with the Federation to counter Romulan threats.
This guy again...how many times do i have to report you to moderators (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
What did I do that upsets you?
You are constantly spamming different groups with your comments about North Korea, Nazism, Communism and stuff like that.
It's not amusing at all, and no one really cares so you should just give up this nonsense. I reported you several times to Intense and other moderators, few more and you will get banned...
This has nothing to do with my political views. I'm just making a fan fic about Korea in Star Trek. I just would like to see other Earth factions besides the Federation in Star Trek. Many people reported me but, the moderator just do not seem to care.
Please consider reading this before you blindly hate National Socialism just because the Americans and the Anglos told you so. Nazism is fake National Socialism. http://aryanism.net/politics/national-socialism-and-nazism/
Is this a joke lol. This not Star Trek Related and way off topic. Post this on the Crysis games that is full North Korean references.
Didn't you read the description? This is about Korea in the same time setting as Star Trek. This isn't a joke. I plan on drawing starships that the Greater Korean Republic will use. I also plan on making a mod for this.
If this is legit I will be happy to blow up GNKR Starship the Kim Jong-un, yay! So you go girl and do your best...
Well, you might have to wait a very long time before you can do that in Bridge Commander. The alien races that fight the Federation are far worse than North Koreans. For example. North Koreans are not as xenophobic and treacherous as Romulans and not as barbaric as Klingons. The Romulan Star Empire is like the hermit kingdom of the Star Trek universe. I have a question for drawing ships. Can the color of the buzzards, the plasma in the Warp nacelles and the deflector be changed according to preferences of certain factions? For example, I want Korean starships to have blue buzzards, red plasma in the nacelles and a red/gold deflector to distinguish their ships from Federation starships. By the way, you are going to need a lot of firepower to defeat a ship with the name Kim Jong Un because, it would most likely either be a Dreadnaught or a Carrier.
What about setting it in the mirror universe so all nations can be dicks like the North Koreans. I think it would great to flip the goody two shoes federations and have them run by Emperor/King Kim Jong Un, noonien singh the 56th or something like that. Making the Romulan and Klingons as the girly good guys or at least less bad guys yay!
The mirror universe version of the Greater Korean Republic Would be the Greater Korean Empire and their flag would be this. En.wikipedia.org I'm just trying to shed light on other parts of the world ignored by Star Trek. The Federation seems like some sort of American European interstellar alliance. I Have concept for a story that takes place after the events of Star Trek online. After the war between the Federation and the Klingon Empire, the Klingon Empire is defeated and, the Romulan Star Empire integrated and became the Romulan Republic, and the Greater Korean Republic are at war several decades later. I'm not sure what side would the Romulan Republic be on since, they know very little of the orgins of the Greater Korean Republic and, from a Romulan's perspective, they have more freedom than the Star Empire.
Yes but the greater Korean public is just a minor faction part of the federation as a whole. Your are focusing to much emphasis on one small gog in a massive machine. If you want korean heroes and villains by all means have them and highlight there ancestry in some story driven way. Actually having the greater korean republic versus the romulans makes no real sense in the Star Trek universe. Only a alternative reality would really work, like some Korean villain fooked up time and space and some korean hero had to set it to rights.
No, this is set in the main Star Trek universe. If I wanted to do an alternate reality, I would gone with the Soviet Union and the Greater Germanic Reich instead. The Greater Korean Republic is completly independent of the Federation. The thing is about Star Trek is that, anybody with a starship can go back in time by flying around a star and, alter history and, starships in Star Trek are as common as cars today. Someone somewhere would always be trying to alter the past to suit them and it would happen quite often
