Aside from the post 9/11 regulations inspired by paranoia, the more recent x-ray machines that turn you into someones's wanking material, and practically getting molested by security, there wouldn't be a problem.

This sort of service is pretty basic and necessary. I wouldn't trust a private security company anymore than a public one. Probably less so really, at least the publicly employed are more likely to have a bit of pride and some sort of sense of duty in whatever it is they do.

Agreed. Also I see this as a step to hiring armored forces from company. Private securities should remain on lower levels than airports or be just addition to real police and it's branches.

I recommend doing more research on security service.

If someone is harassed or feels uncomfortable with the security, a company is obligated to change it in order to retain customer satisfaction- much unlike the touchy, low-class, and most importantly unconstitutional TSA.

If they had hot chicks feeling my body for weapons, I would endorse this kind of security. They would also be required to double check under my genitals for security purposes of course.

Do we need them? I am personally against this kind of power for any group-The TSA needs to go. I feel that airlines should provide private security. This will bring customer satisfaction into play and make security more convenient, economically practical, and less intrusive overall.
