I hae hear alot of talk on this site about how Zionism is correct because the Israelies were "promised" Israel thousands of years ago. Now i don't know Zionism is right or not, thats not the question here.
The question is if if its fair to take land from its owners and give it to those who previously owned it why doesnt the US take it further and give back the land they stole from the Native Americans who say they were promised the land thousands of years ago as well.
and is there a difference between the Native Americans and Israel or is it just a mix of rascim, ethnocentrism, and hypocriscy?
Zionism to me is nothing more than the combination of theology and nationalism. I could even go as far as calling them an offspring of Nazism. When it comes to Israel, there is no obvious immediate solution.
When it comes to the original natives of this land they ought to have been treated far better, but alas nothing in the way of reparations can be done now.
The case is similar with blacks, though they were enslaved the people who were are long gone. Their children have no right to expect checks or free land in their stead. But that fact alone should not exclude the impoverished of any race from support of any kind.
As the powerful nations of the world should have some responsibility to drag the rest of the world forward with them, the wealthiest of society should take up a similar role.

Before it was racism and manifest destiny, probably one of the most brilliant excuses for territorial expansion ever devised. 'God said that land should be ours.'
Now, frankly, no one gives a **** them.
Both Israel and the United States should retain their lands because generations not responsible for that displacement were born here. In school we actually go very in depth into the American genocide, and I think the people of Israel should educate themselves similarly.
The land was stolen but at the same time can never be returned. Simple as that.

Deer, it wouldn't be receiving land back, it would be stealing it.
The United States is flawed, but I honestly don't think giving one ethnic group power will change anything for the better- Our politics are diversifying, and the best thing about the United States is that we always reform our government before it goes to crap (much like the mcdonalds business plan) Also we get to take all the cool stuff we built when we leave.
well you can take anything that doesnt come from resources from stolen land.

Actually, there is something which could be done. If the Israeli government would give the Palestinians more rights and legal protection, maybe a lot of the hostility would stop. Right now, the only punishment for killing a Palestinian is a fine; the fine ranges from about 50-100 dollars, depending upon what type of weapon the victim was killed with. Approximately 2000 Palestinian civilians are killed each year in Israeli attacks, and the figure is steadily rising. What's almost more horrifying than the stats are the reactions from Zionists; nearly half of Israel's Zionist population advocate or imply that the elimination of the Palestinians is essential to achieving national security. Tell me, what kind of government tolerates that?

Genocide can always be justified- all you have to do is add alittle religous zealotry, a belief in destiny, hatred for those you wish to destroy and finally an excuse. No, justice is not punishing a large group of people for a small and audible group among them.
The people were driven out of their homeland by their enemies. It was taken from them and they got it back. Israel belongs to the Hebrews, plain and simple.

Life isn't fair and neither is God. If God was "fair" we would all be in Hell right now! No, instead He is righteous and just. Justice and fairness are not the same thing. Most of the time they are at odds with each other. The way we handled things when we came to this continent was indeed wrong. In the end a positive purpose was served. The word of God was shown to the natives and given to many who accepted and got saved.
ps. I'm part Cherokee and it is believed that some of the Native American Indian tribes are remnants of some of the houses of Israel.

There have been no tests done yet. The archeological evidence wasn't discovered that long ago. They found a tablet written in ancient Hebrew in a Cherokee dig site. Don't remember if it was a burial site or just ruins tbh. I'll try to find it again. Yes, I'm aware they were slaughtered anyway just because of their skin color. The culprits will be punished severely too. If by "connection" you mean how much Cherokee is in me I don't know. I just know its less than 1/4, hence why its not noticeable. If you mean do I actually involve myself in anything Cherokee related then my answer would be no strong connection.
