Explanation of why we now have three domains. We've 'moved' to IndieDB as to correct our domain situation.

We're moving.

Earlier today a contract and agreement was signed by the directing manager for Maker's Lair, and directing manager for Team NoS. This collaboration has resulted in technical advancements making Wicked Evolving For A Broken Future independent.

For those who do not know about, or are not aware of Maker's Lair or Wicked Evolving, I suggest you visit both the MODDB page & the studio page.

We will not cease development of release or management on MODDB, not at all, we're just moving to a more parent and correct site. We suggest you all either track this page, if you're aware of what Wicked Evolving is, or head to the MODDB page and grab all the details you can(!)

The MODDB profile will re-main as active as this will, both being updated with the exact same content at the exact same time, this includes articles and downloads.

Start-off by tracking either this page or the MODDB page, so you can notified of media releases. Like these:

Content being from [...]

And

Etc Etc. - Content being from [...]

If you want you could contact one of ModDB's admins and they will move the ModDB page to IndieDB, keeping all the content and trackers, just like how INFRA did (Incase you don't know, both sites are connected, which means that everyone on ModDB will still be able to track the development).

If Wicked isn't a mod anymore it would be more fitting. It would also keep all the feedback on the same page, which would keep the community together, instead of having the community scattered.

How do you get a Source license, especially with something that has content from other mods.

VALVe Has a two systems for this, one is called 'SteamPipe' - Which allows you to 'GRAB' all the files/ content used and 'Paks' them, so that's how we keep content from other Source Games, in this case that's only a few, bare assets.

We don't have a Source License, but a 'SDK License' - Which means 'Source Developer Kit License' - allowing use of the tools, then packing them into the allocated folders along with a streamed version of the engine.
