Oh, and notice that you can see outlines around the blocks in the far.

I don't get it...
You can indeed see outlines, but I'm not understanding the 'such colors...' statement. Does it have something to do with the transitions between sand and grass?
probally the contrast between biomes, in my opinion they are to small
did you change with your computers Graphic options (Like ATI or Nvidia control panel) it did the same thing to me when i put them all high try turning them down thats if you did turn them up.
The grass and leaves are blueish green (or greenish blue). That's what is wrong.
You can change the texture files if you need to.
