He creared his rifle "to protect borders of Motherland, and it is not his guilt that his rifles are used for wrong aims. Not a gun kills but people" - his words, and I think he is absolutely right in this.

Agreed, I may be an Allied Loyalist.
But that's right, People abuse the main purpose of the rifle and weaponry.
That's why wars and other battles happen.

Were human it doesnt matter if we have guns or not, if we didnt have guns, only knifes, weed stab each other, if not kniefs, but stigs beat each other.
Weaponry kills, that its sole purpose, were human we kill,
Get over it

Description

Today is a day to be remembered: November 10 2009. Exactly today legendary soviet small arms designer Mihail Timofeevich Kalashnikow, outstanding creator of AK-47 assault rifle, celebrates his 90th anniversary. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Lieutenant General, twice a hero of Russia, twice a hero of Socialistic Labour, laureate of lenin's and Stalin's premium, Chevalier of Saint Andrew's Order, member of Union of writers of Russia, member of communist party since 1952, deputy of Supreme Council of USSR in 1950-1954.
He was born on the 10th of November in 1919 in large peasant family in the village Kur'ya in Altay. In 1938 was conscripted to Red Army as a tank driver in tank regiment in the city of Striy in western Ukraine. There he already designed new equipment for tanks and TT guns. During The Great Patriotic War he was a tank commander, in August 1941 in Bryansk he was seriously wounded. Being in vacantion for 6 month sergeant Kalashnikov created his first model of sub machine gun. In 1942 Kalashnikov works in the Central Scientific-Research military ground of the Main Artillery Headquarters of Red Army. In 1944 here he created first sample of sub machine gun which later became first prototype for AK-47. Since 1945 he design sub machine gun for 7,62×39 bullet of 1943 year.
