Description

Soviet hand MG in army since 1927. Was one of the first MGs created fully in USSR. Was in mass use till the end of Great Patriotic War. There were 2 main models: with magazine and tapes.
Caliber - 7,62.
Bullet - 7,62x64 R.
Weight with magazine - 11,3 kg.
Weight without magazine - 8,5 kg.
Rate of fire - 600 shots per minute.
Length - 1266 mm.
Length of barrel - 605 mm.
Magazine - 47 bullets.
Tape - 100 bullets.
Weight of magazine without bullets - 1,64 kg.
Weight of magazine with bullets - 2,8 kg.
Was also used in local conflicts in Africa and Asia.
