I assume this image was done with oil paint. The gritty, rough and un-detailed element is only visible in such techniques. Though admittingly this work here has a lot of detail.

Like Wout said earlier the metal is just amazingly done. I highly admire the engraved Mythosaur skull in the shoulder and the way the plates look worn. It is raw, it is brutal, it is Mandalorian by nature.

Truth be told aside from the T-visor and the Mythosaur skull there are few elements that define it as a Mandalorian armor actually. The only other observable traits are the wrist/gauntlet and shoulder plates as well as the flak vest under the plates. The general shapes however are not definable to be Mandalorian.

In my honest opinion. The feathers and the T-visor kinda kill the cool image. But without them this would not be a Mandalorian image. Such dilemmas.

The weapon crossbow looks authentic but not like it packs a punch. More like a small, close range, precision weapon. The sword is not a traditional beskad I believe and but as a short and easy to reach weapon it suffices.

Overall the image is well done. It is coherent, gritty and feels rough. The Mandalorian in this image looks like he will come out of the image and educate you in why Mandalorians are to be feared. A truly fierce image.

Description

This was too grand to pass by, and as such, this shall be uploaded here.

Depicted here is what possibly was a Mandalorian who was part of the Fett family long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
