Yes, because they were loyal to Sauron and when Sauron wanted to besiege Minas Tirith he called all his armies he had in his power including all his orcs, trolls and Nazgùl. and men of Harad, Easterlings of Khand, pirates of Umbar and maybe some more.

They were also in the Battle of Osgiliath but not in the movie version ;)
