What do you think about the upcoming Lord of the Rings Video Game: Gollum?
For me; it is quite interesting to see a title under the name of "Gollum". It will be quite an interesting game for me if they'll release it in near future, which I am really wondering how will be the game's mechanics be like. The only thing I consider is; looks like game is from the time which Gollum has been captured to Barad-Dur for interogation, and I don't think whatever they planning it will fit the lore toooo much. Like, I don't know who -or what- will Gollum ally with, otherwise it can be pretty boring to just wonder and complete missions alone without no allies.
Of course this is just my thoughts about the game itself. Either way I am eagerly waiting to try out this game. :)

Perhaps after letting out of Barad dur he would still have to escape Mordor so there would be a mission of him escaping several sectors then reaching Cirith Ungol and then Shelob's lair. perhaps a mission given by Shelob , perhaps baiting orcs so Shelob can eat them. From there a journey till he is captured by the elves and then his escape and him wondering the Misty Mountains and following the Fellowship. But even so... i don't know how it will be fun
Indeed. Even as us, fans and nerds of Lord of the Rings, it doesn't seems so possible which Gollum can find an alliance in the very deep of Barad-Dur, including Shelob. I think also the other possiblities, such as Shadow of Mordor's, somewhat taking controls of orcs for dirty duties, but this look like impossible because I don't think orcs' shall obey a fiflty wretched creature. Besides this I don't have any ideas left in my cache... some teaser images shows Gollum shall have a "dialogue" inside of himself but I don't think this will help him to gain allies, and other images doesn't provide more ideas because they belongs to Gollum sneaking nearby orcs. If the game can get a more detailed trailer in the future or more teaser images, if the game won't cancel, I think we might learn this in very near future because the game is planned to release in 2022 which is a not so far date from now on. We all see what did they create / imagine. :)
Perhaps it is a racing game. And to unlock all other characters you need to finish the game as Gollum.
