It is said that Azog had a son Bolg who later inherited Moria and ruled it for 150 years. Bolg also led an army of Orcs at The Battle of the Five Armies which he was killed by Dain (I think... can't remember :S)

Now this really makes me wonder............ how did this orc came to having a baby where there was never any female orcs mentioned. I thought orcs "popped out of the ground" like dwarves do. Possibly Azog mated with a human and that's how?.....

Could be he raised a birthed/worthy Orc as his son and heir, but him mating with a Human would result in a Half-orc.
