Omaha beach in Company of Heroes.
Saving private Ryan, uhm I mean CoH ftw! xD
First time I played CoH i tested the mission, it took me aproximatley 15 seconds to realise I had a new favorite game.
omaha beach must be the most overused battle scenario of all time. still cool nonetheless
duh, no wonder why. It's the start of the american european campaign with epic proportions, it's the obvious first mission in well, everything involving the american liberation of europe.
The fact that it was the most heavly defended beach head, due to the fact that the defences were designed by Rommel himself and the massive losses that the American's sustained might have something to do with that...
too bad there were few defendants compared to point du hoc, maybe the the invasion woulda been kicked off the beach
