Hello! My name is Jupiter Hadley and I am a writer, YouTuber, and an indie game lover. I specialize in recording every single game entered into a single game jam. I am also a foodie. So recently, I decided to bring my two interests together; food and indie games. Thus, I am holding a epic food game jam!
This game jam is called the Let’s Cook Jam!
It is about making games that involve food. Your game does not have to be about cooking, but should feature food in some way, shape, or form. The jam will run from April 24th through May 2nd. This jam is being held over at Game Jolt, so you will need a Game Jolt account to enter. There are only two rules: make a game involving food and make the game during the game jam duration.
All of the games entered into the jam will be recorded on my YouTube Channel. Some of my personal favorites may also show up in a few articles for various places. Eeve Somepx and Tokka Train have made some free to use food and cooking themed graphics that you can even use in your game! These assets will stay free to use, even after the jam is over. I am hoping quite a few awesome food games get made for this jam.
So if you like food and want to make a game, you should definitely enter. I cannot wait to see what games get entered into this jam. Will you be inspired to make a full cooking game, or rather platformer involving eating all the food in an area to move on? Add your own twist to this open theme!
