Is it weird I feel so... robbed?
It's not weird. Game publishers' goal isn't to put good games in the market, it's to make MORE MONEY for themselves.
Mainly only applies to console plebs though. Since on PC, unless you happen to be an idiot that buys stuff from steam greenlight, uplay, or microsoft's store, it's pretty difficult to end up with a terrible game and not be able to return it.
If they did this, they would at least be honest. I could respect that.
But since they pretend they care about gaming, they won't have that respect, and in either case they wouldn't have my money.
If only the masses weren't so stupid, they would go out of business.
