This is one reason I prefer games with no privately owned servers. Don't get me wrong, privately owned servers have their advantages (i.e., mods/custom maps, quicker kick/ban process for people that are being actual d-bags), but it's no fun when you get on a server where people are abusing those privileges, particularly when it comes to kicking/banning people.

EXACTLY like that. I've played on a few clan-run servers in various games where they (the clan) had given 14 or 15 year olds admin privileges... those servers were generally not all that fun.
'Cough' Tlu servers on arma 2 where 12 year olds have mod and admin privilages and ruin the game cause they get mad'cough'
