i haven't played halo5 and for me the lore ended before halo4. tho i liked the game play of 4 the story felt to off from the other games for me to think there the same lore.
thats because in 4 our only purpose was get home until the didact came in
for a start they lost Marty O'Donnell, a big part of the feel of a game for me is its music.
secondly 343 took over saying
'its a great responsibility and we want to be true to the
franchise'
while at the same time,
'we want to make our own mark on it'
4 was ok, but it didn't feel the same. I also didnt play 5
Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought Halo 5 was terrible. I just thought the whole aspect of.
"Master chief saved UNSC from 3 halo rings, and now hes a traitor just cause." I'm sorry wha..
Not to mention the fact they didn't even play on the "traitor" story arc so it was more like false advertising.
Here people were expecting a big confrontation between Chief and Locke as well as Chief possibly realizing the faults of the UNSC. But we end up with Cortana Skynet instead.
No one liked Halo 5, as far as I know.
