I too generally would attempt to fix issues by myself and if I couldn't solve it I would ask the people over at linustechtips.com for help. but before I was this nerdy I would have had to send my pc to the service shop although that was before I was overly addicted to the internet, gaming, and my computer in general.
that's why I don't leave my house or my room unless i have to. although parkour would make me want to leave my house if only I was half decent at it. (got to play more AC games for the bleeding effect, me thinks)
Than I just play my single player games:) not a big problem. By once I get star citizen's alpha version. Then I will cry every time the Internet is down....
I can relate to this...My PC has been out for more than a month now.
And I have to use this crappy laptop.
I fix my own PC when it breaks :| so i don't see this in myself when my PC is at the service shop.......
....... but when i'm at work away from my PC :P
