I keep losing my mind over windows update taking all my bandwidth, cpu, ram and hard disk space.

I miss the days when updates used to come in service packs that you could get as CDs and separate downloads.

so configure Win10 to update only in the time you are not on the PC ... or stop automatic updates

people are so afraid of change, and if it comes, instead of adapting to it, they brag about it, they bitch about it

WINDOWS 10 IS BEST WINDOWS I EVER HAD, I DON'T HAVE A SINGLE PROBLEM WITH IT over years of service

you are an *******, and let me tell you this, Windows 10 is nothing but a theme change of Windows 7 which is being thrown out the window.

and you are the one that is bragging and bitching about people not liking the **** you like.

also Windows update can be completely disabled from Services in the administration tools, in the control panel same as Windows 7 (which Windows 10 keeps the same cause its nothing but a theme change and everything is still raw in the background)

Windows 10 doesn't give you even a button to just disable windows updates until "I" decide when to activate them again.

this is like taking control of your computer without your permission and your only allowed to delay it, not turn it off like a switch.

Right now I'm cleaning over 11 gbs of update files that windows 10 refuses to remove cause they are "Important" incase the update that I got turned out to be bad and had to be downgraded.

Windows 7 support has officially ended so it's considerably less secure now.

Haven't updated 10 in a couple years.
Turns out it has a really hard time working when you take control of and disable every file pertaining to Windows Update, Windows Update Service, Windows Update Medic, Automatic Update, and Cortana.

And from what I saw, if you don't kill all of those the survivors will update themselves bring their buddies back to life.
