Marxist, socialist a communist? No, Che was a born rebel, Marx a philosopher and Obama is not resolved yet. The rest were dictators enjoying their personal cult. Ego was their only political direction.
Keep in mind at the time in European Socialism had a pretty strong movement and the NAZI Party likley placed "Socialism" in the name for political reasons. Also due to Germany's Poverty and state at the time as people were very poor and Unemployment was very high before the NAZIs took over.
Hitler was a Right wing Fascist not a left winger like Stalin ((Far left Communist)) or Obama ((Moderate left Socialist)). This picture is Bogus.
That is like saying that NK is "Democratic" Same with the DRC.
@Sakura Matou
thnx for clarifying. the huge problem i have with all of this, is that each time i engage in a hitler-related discussion, i always hear something different, being it in school, internet, etc.
@Sakura Matou
Actually, the Party uses a few ideas from socialism, it is not right wing nor fascist. It is something called "third position". And Fascism is waaay different from Nazism. In Fascism, state is all, in Nazism, state is jut a figurative form of governament made by people, to people. Following this same topic, comes the socialism, where the economy is something made for the people, by people, and it should stay like that. No one must put their individual interests over the common ones. In practice it was pretty much socialist, the way they handled their people. Socialism is not only Karl Marx nor is close to communism.
Socialism is "from people, by people, to people", with common benefit before everything, the masses before the elite.
I will not start anything here, I'm just "fixing" some infoes :P
Don't take me wrong.
I know your not trying to start anything don' worry about that :P
But really as well thought out as your post was it is simply wrong.
My German relatives would have tended to disagree ((my grandfather for one)).
Also just a simple question..
If Nazis ans Fascism were completely different then how come The Soviets and Allies used to refer to it as such when speaking of the Germans during WW2? Even Chant Slogans like "Death to Facism!
This tends to be a subject I know alot about I'm not trying to seem like a know it all trust me.
Either way I'm giving you a +1 Karma because it was a great response and well thought out even though I did not agree with it :3
Well, the Soviets and Allies in that time didn't knew the difference, since both are anti-communists, created at the same year and with other common aspects. But, we all know the Allies had a lot of things they didn't know and confused both. On the same time they have a lot in common, they also have a lot of thing they disagree. As I said, the NS is more "masses" and the fascism is more "elite FTW".
A lot of the surivors would now agree that the NS was a bad thing and all the stuff. But for those, who live before the war and did not see the war would say that it was good. Also, the NS is not just what was aplied, it was also an idea, with thinkers behind it, with utopics toughts too. (I'm not very good expressing myself in english, when comes to this :P)
Hitler was a communist...?
He was alied whit Commonist he coudnt not be one him self looks like who made this was just not understanding history
I thought the same thing BananaPancake-Chan thought XD
Last I heard Hitler was fascist..
Nazi stands for "National Socialism"
Marxist, socialist a communist? No, Che was a born rebel, Marx a philosopher and Obama is not resolved yet. The rest were dictators enjoying their personal cult. Ego was their only political direction.
Marx was actually a sociologist...
@WeeGee
Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
or National Socialist German Worker's Party.
In practice yes but it was by far not Socialist.
Keep in mind at the time in European Socialism had a pretty strong movement and the NAZI Party likley placed "Socialism" in the name for political reasons. Also due to Germany's Poverty and state at the time as people were very poor and Unemployment was very high before the NAZIs took over.
