as a species, we spend a great deal of our time fighting and killing other members of our species over relatively trivial matters, with crude technology that simply makes a thing go fast and then BOOM if it doesn't have a serrated blade on it. many of our everyday items were developed from things built for the sole purpose of making that other guy over there dead. our society glorifies violence and our greatest kingdoms and empires were built with war and slaughter. we have this fantastic thing called adrenaline rush that can momentarily harden our bodies against horrific injuries like amputation. we love to make noise and destroy things.
take a superadvanced alien that has lived its entire existence on some ultra clean and sterile worldship made by a society of peace and understanding, drop it in a forest with a human, and make the human hate the alien (shouldn't be a problem).
give the alien a day's head start and watch as the biological Terminator hunts it down and rends it limb from limb.
But that is another story, we evolved alongside these germ for thousands of years, while the aliens invaded an ecosystem with foreign bodies.
A good example (although being opposite) is when the Europeans came to America, the microorganisms they carried were foreign to the natives, causing the dead of many.
Regarding klingons, the mirror universe Terran Empíre, a twisted form of the Federation, actually destroyed the klingons Empire, and rules over its own universe. They are fascistic and extremelly racist, leaving only a few humanoid species still in existence like vulcans and andorians, and they prove that if the Federation wasnt such a bunch of paladins, they could have already covered their entirely galaxy and dealt with all threats in it.
No, they adopt other species's apearences, but they are really inorganic, so humanoid term would not apply to the whole Collective. Besides, in the Mirror Universe, the Terran Empire actually beat the Borg.
Humanity, F**K YEA!
We're such a hardcore race, too bad we spend most of our time on our *****

if humans were green and fungoid, we'd be Orks.
Agreed... but...
*sneaks up to your face and hugs it*
...this is a humour site.

so basically pit a tau soldier versus a imperial guardsman in melee combat?
sounds like a good times be coming..
They forgot to mention we hunt in packs and are very adaptable in out tactics, we seriously learn really fast when our life is on the line!
reminds me of how the aliens in war of the worlds were simply defeated by germs that humans have developed immunities against

According to the last bit, we are stalkers.
No matter how many times I see this, I still love it.
Well, if there were other sentient species that we knew of, I'd be damn proud of being human. Reasons are listed above.
We're the equivalent to space orcs, huh.

Are Borg considered humanoid?
