I haven't played Rise of Flight, but even with my very limited knowledge of physics I can tell the only thing keeping these planes airborne at THAT (lack of) speed is videogame logic.

EA has really just turned into shitposting galore with their games. Yeah, it's pained me how they've bought out and trashed many of my favorite franchises. They'll just slap together whatever crap they want cause they hold a monopoly in the gaming industry, never held accountable for it.

People more concerned with milking for profit than quality gameplay.
Maybe the next big recession will backrupt them, I can only hope...

They've been wrecking every title they have. Dead Space, Battlefield, everything alike... it's ridiculous.

You could also try Command and Conquer as well as Star Wars Battlefront.

In my honest opinion, they should stick to the Battlefield series and sell the rest of their IP's, cause they've butchered way too many franchises to be worthy of anything else. I don't even have to argue that fact, anyone who's paid any actual attention to the gaming industry in the last decade either knows this or is in denial.

Not to mention they are still on the crusade of buying out companies for their own benefits.

I miss Westwood, I miss Lucasarts, granted not all companies that gave over the IP were bought out by them but still. EA is a prime example of what evil can come out of monopolistic capitalism. All these smaller more community focused companies going bankrupt and getting bought out has left the gaming industry in a desert.

EA is one of real evils (with Ubisoft and early-access maniac wallet-mouth indies in Steam) in the game sector these days. What can we do in that case is to support remaining good old style AAA studios (and yes, I'm also crying for Westwood sometimes) and Indie companies with the true love of working development.

But I still find Battlefield is worth something, and I still love this game independently from my view to EA. They're still doing something, and this time they did it good for Battlefield 1.

Battlefield was never meant to be realistic though, if you want realism ArmA is pretty much the only series there is (with a crap ton of mods too)...

Battlefield is not a genre to expect to much for now, it's a classic arcade since the release of BFBC and the series has already formed it's style of gaming. I think Battlefield 1 still has nice gameplay and story (and of course fun) compared to other FPS games in recent.

Battlefield have always had a touch of arcade gameplay to it. Ever since the first Battlefield. Why are people continuously shocked? Have people even played Battlefield 1942? Lol

Not to mention the demand for a realistic Battlefield... Battlefield have never been realistic. Also, that's what Arma is for.

*touch of arcade gameplay*
*have never been realistic*

You know what, if you're gonna go as far as historical accuracy with weapons and gear for a sense of immersion and realism. You could at least try to get the physics right with your vehicles. Don't compare apples and oranges, Arma is another animal entirely.

This game is a piece of **** for the following reasons:
NO ************* FRENCH
NO ************* RUSSIANS
NO AUSTRIA-HUNGARY
>Has Burgers
>Has ANZAC
>And at the risk of being banned forever, the British and the German teams often have more black people than the Ottomans.

Historical accuracy is being destroyed in favor of political correctness and bias. Do not buy this game if you have a scrap of integrity and a desire to see the historically accurate portrayal of one of the deadliest wars mankind has endured.

^^^ This man knows what he's talking about.

Granted, they didn't make the game with historical accuracy in mind other than with the weapons and vehicles in the war. But they really have contributed to mass stupidity in regards to the actual history of the great war. As well as added their own social justice spin on it for political correctness points with the media and advertisers.

The officers/generals of that time were stuck in European style/colonial era tactics with modern weapons. Not to mention the issues with trench warfare which caused millions to die over the course of the war over mere mile stretches of land. I pity the poor bastards who were forced to charge machinegun nests on mass, and I hate the officers who'd give such a retarded order to men with families. But, no such instances are really covered with EA's battlefield one. If anything, I'd use the campaign of that game to damn all sides of the conflict for just how screwed up their tactics with their own men was. Those generals should've been convicted for war crimes against their own forces.

Austro Hungarian are here atm (on the italian map), alslo yeah i don't know why there is so many black soldier in the british army (on the western front map atleast), granted most of it colonial troop on the western front originated from India, Pakistan, Punjab and such. I don't mind if a lot of them where on the middle east map where they where more ofter deployed. On the other hand France that actually had a lot of colored troop deployed on the western front is not there (Ah yeah premium DLC ********).
They have lost even more credibility (to my eyes at least) by saying that they whant to represent the conflict and just skip 2 of the important country involved into the conflict (Or maybe its just a strategy for more cash grabbing DLC)

that is why we can and will inevitably port BF1s assets back to BF1942 preferably a mod for it BF1918. From there we can do anything we want with it.

I knew from the beginning that EA would screw it up somehow.

I don't even care, we already have Verdun (Gotta get it one day).
