When this day comes, I'm dropping out of college, quitting my job and Joining the Stormtrooper Corps, but in all reality i'd probably get stuck in the Imperial Army :/
There goes the lore in that one scene in The Force Unleashed...
In fact from an aerophysics perspective very few ships and fighters from star wars can actually fly in the atmosphere unless they somehow have technology which allows them to resit downward gravity while moving forward at an repetitively decent speed. (Not fast enough for the planet to curve away from them)
some sort of Anti-Gravitic engine. But a monster like that entering the atmosphere would burn a large part of it and itself, it would be an environmental disaster and a Starship Wreck all in one.
Isn't this a retouched screen shot of that crappy youtube video?
Wouldn't it be more realistic also if it was a VSD?
Um hello? Last time I checked if used in the right amount, it ALWAYS works!

ISDs aren't capable of atmospheric flight; just sayin...

Venator is the largest SD capable of atmospheric operation.
