I really see it as the USA's problem. The USA saw it and dumped it in the cocktail that makes lots of pop-stars stupid and/or crazy (or in this case are they the same thing?). It was not a faulty product, nor was it falsely labelled. It was just a teenage boy who had a relatively good voice and US businessmen said "Bring him in" and its ego went through the roof.
But it's funny as hell to see the cousins squabble.
