I don't mind spiders or cockroaches. To me, I see one and I be like "AAHH... oh, it's you, yeah you're fine."
Cockroaches are clean insects, seeing one inside your house should be like a badge of honour that proudly proclaims your house is clean as.

Doesn't matter if they are beneficial most people hate them because they don't know which ones are venomous and most people know about Shelob as well as the other spiders of middle earth...
I don't mind spiders as well..I like them actually. i just grab them and put them outside the window. Wasps, hornets and mosquitoes on the other hand... *cnc generals Helix voice* THE NAPALM BOMB IS READY!!!
Spiders are alright...so long as they aren't too big, and they don't get into my clothes or food, I have no complaints. However, I have no tolerance whatsoever for cockroaches. They themselves are clean in terms of physical hygiene, but they often carry a ton of diseases.
Ants are awesome. Swarm intelligence FTW!
As for wasps, flies, mosquitos, and a few other airborne insects...let them burn. x)
I never harm spiders that aren't in my home, but once they're in my home, that's one step too far. *deploys flame thrower*
If I knew what kind of spider I had around, I wouldn't mind so long as it's not venomous or lethal.
