Reason why they haven't made such an aggressive drm yet is precisely because they'd be directly liable for personal data loss, in mass scale while at it. If hundreds (or even thousands) of gamers present the same lawsuit for data loss, the dickish corporation is sure to lose (lotsa) money, and that's precisely what they don't want.
If such DRM happens to be invented...then piracy will skyrocket to insane numbers because cr.a.cks will effectively bypass such bullcrap... And again, the only one bashed is the paying customer... :/
Ouch I hope they never make DRM that reformats the user's HDD (or SSD) cause that would suck. (EA DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!)
