I prefer well cooked myself, but I think you have to uave an open mind in this, some people love their food only half way cooked, others want it almost raw.

Rare and medium rare here. Carbonizing meat denaturalizes proteins too much and the digestive system has a harder time dealing with it, after all we evolved to eat completely raw meat so I'd say it's better doing it just enough. Still, nobody's going to die of malnutrition anyway... Have it whatever way you people want.

We have a similar thing in Germany, it's called Mett and is absolutely delicious. It is usally put on bread though.
