Our chem teacher actually jokingly said that if he were to lose his job he would resort to cooking meth to provide for his family.
Also he knows compounds that can kill someone but will later decompose to stuff that are normally found within a body. For whatever reason he didn't want to tell us what they were and only told us about polonium 210. I mean it's not like ChemAP students with virtually no morals aren't trustworthy or anything XD and while we are coping notes he will just randomly state facts that relate to the topic. (ie we are learning how to name hydrocarbons and he obviously has to mention methamphetamine)
My first chemistry teacher was an older woman. She was very strict in teaching and we called her 'iron lady'. We didn't even know how much that fits... One time she was about to show us what sulphuric acid does with metals. She took the test tube, put an iron nail inside, poured the acid and closed the tube with her thumb(!) to shake it. Iron was gone, she poured the rest of solution in sink and with a light smile washed her hands.
