About the iWatch I'm going to bet that in less than a year every idiot will forget that other smart watches (pebble, galaxy gear, moto360 etc.) existed and will be completely convinced that Apple invented the smart watch. Just like most people think that Apple invented everything else.
I don't see who in their right mind would buy these "Smart Watches", i can see the bloody time on my 10 year old cell phone, and in case it dies, i've got a nice waterproof watch i can wear...
It's more than just for time. A smart watch can let you know of a text, email, call, event etc when you phone is not within reach. So for example when your playing a sport (unlikely for us moddb users) or when for whatever reason you need to rely on something strapped to your arm in order for you to realize the notification.
Technology these days...
