I didnt know the term till I watched 9th company so dont worry the commissariat is pretty forgiving here.
Haraam meen forbidden aka something you can't eat/do. (And i dont see why it's alway about pork because muslim do not have the rigth to eat some other animals....like crocodile or kangaroo.
It's also have he doulbe signification it is applied to some muslim holy icon/land (Like Mecca and Médine or the Kaaba)
