Perhaps I'm over thinking this, but I find something profound in what's shown here. While the silly wish of true love isn't as cool as the other granted wishes on display, I believe that it has a quality all of it's own, having a person that'll be with you, satisfy you, help you both physically and emotionally is actually pretty great. Not only that, but there are benefits of being an average person. Not having to deal with the responsibilities or consequences of any of the granted wishes shown is kind of nice. (Super hero, fate of galaxy, too much money, etc.)
On the other hand, one must deal with the consequences and responsibilities of having true love, which would be easier to manage, while the benefits (Perfect partnership and satisfaction) should out weigh them.
It just shows how many people feel unloved, also shows how many people there are who don't give a **** about love as long as they are materially backed.
Plot twist, all of them suffered horribly in the end due to the wishing well being of the scumbag kind...

That's the truth.
Entirely.

Not gonna lie though, a wheelbarrow full of dosh does sounds pretty nice...
