All too true.
And then people wonder why piracy is still a thing...
Also, since EA's lawyers ****** up the BF Revival project, I can most definetely say that I won't be buying anything from them again.
Let's also not forget what they did to Westwood Studios, Bullfrog Productions, Origin Systems, Black Box, Mythic Entertainment, Pandemic Studios, Visceral Games, the short-lived Victory-Games (and the Generals 2 project with it) and many others.
You would think given EA's history of ******* up companies and putting them into the ground and their business practices would tell the rest of the gaming population not to buy **** from them. While I blame EA for this **** to a degree I also find it extremely annoying that people who say they hate EA and what they are doing STILL buy their ****. ******* hypocrites who feed the problem that is EA imo.
Let's just ******* hope people won't buy that **** anymore...
