well germanys retardet king back then offered full military support to austria.. austria went nutz after Serbian ppl tried a assasination attempt and started basically WW1 with germany. BTW everyone said germany was at fault but thats not true as we know now... the one started the war was austria and germany got basically Anschlussed and owned by the allieds. Which leads to the event of WW2 since germany people felt they got treated unfair. feel free to "history nazi" me if you want but thats what i recall of reading wikis and history class back then.
Kaiser, it means emperor, Germany was an empire, Wilhelm II was an emperor just a BTW.
and if they kept it a small war between Austria-hungary and Serbia none of it would have escalated, but Russia had to back Serbia and Austria-Hungary got scared so Germany backed them, then France saw an opportunity for redemption after their humiliation from the Franco-Prussian war in 1870 so they backed Serbia and Russia. Meanwhile Germany and England had been industrial rivals for years and then the kaiser started building up his fleet, which didn't sit too well with England being a naval empire.
so it was just as much of the Ally's selfish ambitions as much as it was the central powers.
It was a simple plan...
I don't recall it happening that way but okay lol
