I prefer the more accurate representation of atoms. Typical 3 years olds with some being stronger than others.

Which representation are you referring to? I've been looking for a realistic one, but I haven't found one. (I'll be completely honest, I'm not searching that much)

Since when I watched Cosmos I now see atoms like the ones there, but that's 3D.

It was just a personification of atoms that my grade 10 science teacher made when he was describing how atoms form bonds. The next noble gas should be named after him if it's a liquid like he predicts. It would even fit the naming pattern since his name was Mr Wyton.
