Well where else would you find lots of blood and not have to worry about several times more ethics than at a blood donation? Also you wouldn't want to get blood transmitted diseases either and to donate blood they test you a lot (according to one of my friends which tried to trick people that he was on drugs using the needle marks as "proof" Yeah he is kind of like that...)
